The origins the Gin Tonic

In the 1840s, the British Navy consumed quinine-rich tonic water to combat malaria. The drink was very bitter, so doctors added gin to make it taste better. The success of Gin Tonic was born.

Want a change from the traditional Gin Tonic? This famous cocktail can be revisited by adding: a grapefruit syrup, red fruit, violet... As a topping, you can give free rein to your creativity with: cucumber, oranges or even rosemary and lavender. For a spicy touch, try a tonic flavoured with cardamom or ginger. The combinations are endless!
