The history of Ginger Ale

Ginger ale first appeared at the end of the 18th century in England when the English colonies brought back ginger from India and used it to create an alcohol-free alternative to beer. The drink was then exported to the United States, where it became a leading product in the early days of Prohibition.

Today, ginger ale is used in a huge number of recipes, including our GIBSON’S BLOOD ORANGE and Ginger Ale cocktail, which is similar to a Moscow Mule.
