GIBSON'S Pink Daiquiri Cocktail

GIBSON'S PINK Daïquiri

In a tumbler, add:

40 ml GIBSON'S PINK Gin

20 ml lemon juice

20 ml sugar syrup

A slice of lime

Preparation

Half-fill a shaker with ice and add the GIBSON'S PINK Gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Shake for 15 seconds before pouring into your tumbler glass, filtering out the ice. Garnish with a slice of lime.

The origins of the Daiquiri

The Daiquiri was created in the early 20th century by two engineers, Pagluichi and Jennings Cox, during a visit to the Daiqui iron mine in Eastern Cuba. When the American Jennings Cox offered to make his colleague a cocktail, all he had to hand was rum, cane sugar and lemon—and so the daiquiri was born!
